well then, Legion, the parliamentarian and courts can then rule on however and whatever is passed. so keep your hat on.
you seem quite satisfied how well they worked for cheney and co. and they are all still in business.
Sorry Arkady,
the “obstruction” here is Democrats,
this is your own party Arkady,
stating that they do not want to pass this bill.
surely you can put aside a lifetime of partisanship
to see how wrong this parlimentary bullshit is?
if this were bush attempting this, I would be the first one saying he’s wrong, by just pointing out that his own party won’t pass this bill.
One reason that there wasn’t follow-up on the Bush criminal doings was that the Big O hoped for bipartisanship – wanting to truly be a uniter, not a divider. The GOP has been obstructionist anyway. Count the draconian executive fiats (if you can find them in all the subterfuge) of the GWB administrations & compare them to those of the current president.

“they both voted on their own bills.
they did not vote on a single bill
as the constitution requires,
why do you think they want to resort to parlimentary tricks now.”
This is a correct characterization of what is going on. It’s called “Deem and Pass,” as i referred to above.

it’s embarassing how blatant this chicanery is.
I called the Bed Stuy home depot – they have topsoil, manure, etc.
Legion – not nice to say he has no regard for the Constitution. He used to teach Con Law at U. of Chicago. He understands it far better than us.
Sally – Won’t it be very difficult to see the Faberge eggs when they’re up so high? I have an empty mantel I’d be happy to display them on for you.
I bet Roy Sloane would pay to be invited into Norah Jones’ place for a glass of wine.
Here though he seems to be focused correctly.
uhhh, make that Despicable,
my spelling may suck
but my assessment of a
power grabbing liar is dead on!
