BH saw it, and his comment to me was that he felt it was interesting in terms of the special effects and style, but that the story wasn’t that engaging — wasn’t anything really ‘new’. And he watches lots of science fiction/animation type stuff.

I watched about 20 minutes of Oscars last night. Didn’t see too many of the movies of course so not that interested. But because I saw previews for Avatar and thought to myself what a stupid movie, am glad didn’t win.
