“So what were movies you would have nominated for this year instead?”
I don’t watch every movie out there so I can’t say. I just wasn’t Wowed by the few I did see.
oooh and I also saw Sherlock Holmes. I think that was up for something. I couldn’t understand a damn word they were saying. I fell asleep for half the movie. I tried to watch it again and was so bored with it.
I missed jessibaby at Dirty Franks last night by about 30 minutes,
I should say I don’t go for sci-fi, adventure, almost all comedy romance with young actors whose name will be around for 2 years, bloodshed. I do however like lots of hot flesh but not the silly simulated sexual intercourse.
Pete, a serious man is one long perfume commercial.
AND I also saw Invictus and I think Morgan Freeman was up for an Oscar. I actually fell asleep for 20 minutes of the movie.
So what were movies you would have nominated for this year instead? Am always looking for suggestions for netflix.
I did see Julie and Julia and enjoyed that one. Interested in Inglorious Basterds but that is a Tarantino film I think and I find them too violent, etc. Missed A Serious Man but this is on list to see.
oh and I also saw Up in the Air. It was okay.
Couldn’t believe that was nominated for Best Picture.
if one cant post cause out partying late, that’s sure sign one is OLD, very very OLD.
I didn’t see many of the nominated films. I did see Hurt Locker. Can’t believe it won Best Picture. Was that the best of the lot?
It was a good movie but I wouldn’t think it’d garner Best Pic.
I also saw The Blind Side. It was good. I actually enjoeyd it more than Hurt Locker. But wasn’t wowed either by it.
I’m just not impressed with movies anymore.
I have a few other of the nominated movies and I’ll eventually get around to watching them.
