No way am I going to pay double for this stuff. What I don’t like is that it is all so “religious”, that you will attain immortal life if you eat organic. You won’t die, you won’t get sick. Get a few crystals and start chanting and get yourself a rent controlled apartment and you are set for the millenium.
yep and there really is NO law that says you arent allowed to slap on the word “Natural” on any product and jack up the price. why do you think 3/4’s of all the Fauxdegas in nyc are called Natural :-/
“all of the Fauxdegas in nyc are stocked with tons and tons of price jacked fake organic crap”

Rob, That is my suspicion.
And yes, those fields that grow “Certified organic” produce have always done so. Fertilizer has never touched their harrowed rows. One can go back in the records of the Fields Preservation Corp (FPC) and check the records.
Jeesh, you think those fields just became “Certified organic” 5 years ago as Whole Foods expanded across the country??
lesbiman, all of the Fauxdegas in nyc are stocked with tons and tons of price jacked fake organic crap that they get away with selling cuz people are such sheep.
Does everyone trust an organic label? How is there a guarantee that the product is truly organic?
Are they virgin fields or fields that were used last year with pesticides? I’m just saying that it seems like the organic market has exploded due to increased demand, and yet, where is all this “organic” stuff coming from? Makes you say hmmmm…..

I question, yes.
But slap a “certified organic” label on me and I’ll cost 30% more. It’s easy to put a label on anything.
