DIBS, what kind of gear could your firm have that requires outsourcing to a firm that staffed the support in Philippines? ie there’s a bunch of same firms in area or in states that could support the gear for not that much

I always bought Dell cause I want the technical support. But they can suck my A$$!!
Last week, I got a virus on my laptop which wouldn’t allow me to open any programs/files. The virus programs I have were useless. I couldn’t even open them up. I called Dell to see if there was something they can do. For $$, they can try to help…..basically by wiping my laptop clean.
What’s the point of having a warranty??

I use chase for my cash accounts – citi for credit card
chase CSR speak clear english – they are just rude as f*ck.
The call center for the company that handles our technology is based in Philippines. The accents are very annoying.

I actually had a decent interchange w/ cust. svc. at a Citibank-sponsored card & the guy I spoke w/ actually did have my number from my having keyed it in!
ET- really? I thought it was just me and my hearing disability- nice to know it’s them, not me 😉
