Yes! Chase banks def use American workers after the hours of 9am EST. – so for that I am thankful.
Citibank on the otherhand is all Indian and Thai or maybe philipino.
I just make it a point to try calling any customer service # after 9am EST
omg that’s hilarious about the CSR
actually I saw the same special on TV that they train the Indian CSR’s to tailor how they joke and speak with certain regions of the US to create a “homey” feeling.
i can understand heavy indian, spanish, russian, african, and british accents pretty good. i cannot for the life of me understand french, french canadian, heavy midwestern american, deep southern, etc.
Fawlty, gem. Dibs posted a link for you to “The Germans” episode. John Cleese runs a B&B. Great writing and casting. Every show a comedic high wire act, resolved only in the final seconds.
