thl, ”
if he even thinks about trying to bring a horse in this house…”
that’s how my grandparents met in 1920, my grandfather drunk as a skunk had a blind date with my grandmother, he rode onto her porch while on a horse, promptly fell off.
Actually he’s been quite sainted during the entire process. I definitely lucked out in that department. He’s put up with a lot and picked up huge amounts of slack.
I’ll let him have his fun.
but I swear…if he even thinks about trying to bring a horse in this house…
Benson,
My perception is that, on the right, talk of cutting entitlements usually means those of other people. I doubt too many are prepared to support giving up benefits or services that they themselves receive and rely upon, or perceive that they would be affected by cuts.
I also think we would only get so far going that route, and there are so many hidden ways we have already cut that we like to ignore. When I think of how much we have deferred maintenance and upgrading of our infrastructure and how outdated ours is, whether we are talking transportation, communication, etc., it is clear we are already pretending to afford what we are unwilling to pay for.
THL, be nice to your hubby cause you’ll need him even more post the child birth. Poor dude doesnt realize you’ll be ordering him around to buy this, cook that, move this, get me that,…. even more post child birth

Let’s just say it involved the words “p*ssy” and “party” and ended up being something completely different from what I anticipated!
