CGar et.al., I would love to join you guys [No Homo] but won’t be able to make it there and back downtown in enough time, especially since I need to leave early and meet a friend for drinks back in midtown after work. On the other hand, lunch and an afternoon off sounds very tempting.
Slopey, Arkady, it is official. Happened very fast. My boss’s boss, and his boss (my old boss), want me to stay, but I don’t think they can do anything for me with the hiring freeze in place. So it looks like this Friday is my last day. And if I pass the background check, I start March 1st or as close to it as possible. If I don’t pass, then that tent on Cobble’s deck is looking really, really good to me right about now!!
