legion- if you read the FBI reports, they do not mirandize until AFTER the terrorist stops talking. That is exactly how they handled the underwear bomber. He talked a blue streak for 9 hours before he was mirandized. He’s still talking. All Miranda does is guarantee his information can legally be used in court. If they are not read their miranda rights (and miranda rights extend to foreign nationals in this country as well) the information and confessions are not admissible in court. FYI- under Bush, captured terrorists were mirandized as well.
Under Bush the Iraq war was not only a failure, but should never have been started. Now the Obama administration has to fix the problem. And they are making some progress, hence Biden’s comment.
