  1. How many people can’t stand that Lotto ad for the Powerball & Mega Millions with that “not so attractive guy” falling into the balls with “More than a feeling” playing in the background.

    Very annoying and visually unappealing!!!!

    Yes, I’m at home now

  2. Legion, he gets his undies in a bunch because he’s always lurking here and sees me here and not there. Rather childish, wouldn’t you say????

** Why doesn’t anyone miss the what?**
**The war has ended, What. Get a life**

  3. I do see that but if you remember, Obama went to Washington when the market crashed, as did McCain. Bush spoke with both of them and Obama came out in favor of TARP. Obama is not rewriting history. As much like a democrat as I may sound, rewriting is a Republican forte (not referring to you, btw. Making a general statement).

You are right, the truth is somewhere in between but I believe that Obama was handed a country in serious crisis- more so than the great Depression. He was handed a country fighting 2 wars, shedding jobs, throwing money around like no tomorrow, easing rules and regulations, a crashing economy and taxes cut. The Bush years were a nightmarish caricature of what this country was. I never felt that way before under any President- Democrat or republican. I may not have agreed with their policies, but I never believed they cared so little about this country as I truly believe Bush and his administration did.For them it was all about party power and money. And we will be living with the results for a long time to come.

Gonna go make myself something to drink now. I need it! 😉

  4. ROFL, Dave! We prefer to have your full-time attention anyways!

Thanks, Legion, bxgrl. Legion, the only thing I quibble with is your suggestion that I’m leaving a “secure” position. The fact that my job is so NOT secure made my decision much easier.

bxgrl, I’d dig ditches to keep you in estates – as long as you keep the cats in your wing, and you let me have my dalliances.

  5. LOL…I just confirmed that I was banned from http://www.asshathill.com!!!!! I wear this as a badge of honor.

The What will see this because he’s always on here lurking and then running back and posting things on his site from here that don’t agree with his world view!!!!! Yet whenever I mention something over here, he gets all pissy, yes pissy, calling me out and generally acting like a 14 year old girl!!!!!!

He’s had a tremendous fall from the cover of New York magazine, even though it was only a caricature to absolutely no presence in Brooklyn now!!!!

I think I found out who really has the sandy vag around these parts!!!!!

  6. bxgrl,

I already posted earlier that I give the President props for his success (and the CIA’s) in capturing the top commander of the Taliban in Pakistan.
    Believe it or not,
I do want the President to be successful, if that means
    what’s good for America, why wouldn’t I?
I disagree that our nation was “run into the ground”,
we have faced worse and have come through, and the last
8-9 years for me, weren’t a complete mess as the left would have us all believe.
As usual the truth is somewhere in between.
I won’t give this President a free pass to re-write history any more than I would believe that Bush was totally right in everything he did (far from it).

President Obama and the Vice President have both stated that Iraq is stable and I believe them from what I’m seeing. I won’t give them entire credit though, since Iraq was handed to President Obama already stabilized.
I do not blame President for the economic meltdown, but I do think that the policies he’s implemented have made the problem worse. The next 6 months will tell.

He stated today that he saved us from a “depression” with the TARP plan and the stimulus, didn’t hear him mention Bush though, when Bush signed the TARP plan.
You have to see that this cuts both ways.
