THL, that is very sad. Sometimes we look at the successful and famous, and think they have everything figured out, and they are so much better off and happier than the rest of us. Sometimes, that just isn’t true. He must have been truly despondent.
I’m so sad- One of my all time favorite fashion designers Alexander McQueen is dead. His mum had died just 3 days ago and he was so distraught over it he committed suicide. He was found this morning having hung himself. His mum’s death compounded the death of one of his closest friends, the woman who discovered him and pushed him in front of the industry greats, Isabella Blow. She had committed suicide 3 years prior after having been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
I just feel horrible for him and his surviving family.

Place is lovely. ET is right about stove, odd location. Nice to have an elevator in a brownstone. Great for the dottage years.
oooh, and parents know when cooking to face the handles to the sides and not the front of the range….or at least they should.
