“Expert, you want to make an appt to go see that HOTD this weekend (Sat 11 or any time Sunday)”
I do want to see that house. I haven’t shown the listing to partner yet. But I can’t go this weekend. It’s odd that the listing said Weekend Showings only, weekdays are so much better for me as I’m usually busy on most weekends.
Mopar and MM, I’ll let you know if I’m going to see it.
Things are different now, as I’m not sure about staying in NY.
“Long way round of saying that I think some of the ‘droolworthiness’ of many Brooklyn properties is because of their location and relative rarity more than superior intrinsic charm vs what is available elsewhere.”
HOTD is very nice.
That said I spent the weekend in my home town (Manchester, UK) and decided that it has as good or better Victorian architecture than NYC on the whole. No brownstone there, however. And Glasgow is probably better than Manchester.

Mopar, I have not called for an appointment. I just want to look, I don’t have two dimes to rub together to make heat, right now. I’ll call Amzi and see what we can do.

But etson, we have real plumbing.
The first time I saw a $500 pair of sneakers, it was on a drug dealer 🙂
The first time I saw a $500 pair of sneakers, it was McQueen’s.

HOTD while lovely is just too much for me, suffocating. Maybe if the furnishings weren’t so museum-ish.
Expert, we can watch old movies…just not all of em! And, if you are gay, come on over baby! LOL
