the number of 30- and 40-somethings heading to their classes was unbelievable. Something someone once told me seemed so true: “Everybody’s taking a night class.”
yeah colleges are raking in the dough these days from people going back to school, taking night classes, etc. it’s all a giant scam really.

I’ve been crashing an architectural history lecture given by a certain famous author/documentarian in a facility of higher learning I’d rather not name that doesn’t allow auditing. Not like I’m getting credit but they’re fascinating (free!)lectures. Making me think about going back to school…
Yes, this is what I do in my spare time.. PLUSA represent!
joe i wouldnt let people trounce all over your ideas about the city, or pay any mind to it. ive noticed something piculiar… people who havent lived in nyc very long almost always seem to think they know what is best for the city or how it should be run than people who have lived their whole lives here. it’s pretty obvious on blogs and stuff.

Huh? Have you been to far Rockaway around Beach 19th – Beach 40th. There are at least 1 reported shooting each day! Look up crime stats if you don’t believe me. If you think a 30 minute ride to Manhattan will magically change that, we’re not currently residing on the same planet.

I’m not hot under the collar, Joe. i just think it’s very naive to think that anything of the sort is going to be constructed over the next 30-40 years.
Again, Second Ave subway. You think people of brooklyn rate higher than the UES, fuggeddaboutit.
DIBS, I heard those little blue pills and the C pill are around $20 each. Does that sound right? It’s a lot more than all those spam emails I get promising them for $2 a pop online.
She began telling me how she’d recently slept with a guy who was very well endowed and now she wanted to break up with her boyfriend, but she felt guilty about it. “There’s love there, but with this other guy there’s fireworks.”

Tell her to act like a man and keep cheating until she can really decide; or it runs its course, or she just keeps cheating.
joe, do you really WANT those types of people infesting that part of brooklyn!?!?

I’ll be living Downtown in my nice Brownstone I bought for half off peak comps!
Ken, I never said it was that simple. You and DIBS shouldn’t get so hot and bothered about a simple opinion. I pretty much know I have a good idea or am close to the truth of the matter when people make personal attacks on me instaed of my ideas, so thanks I guess.
