  1. Don’t forget the NYC mortgage tax:

Dave Dave Dave, coops don’t have NYC mortgage tax lol. That’s another plus of Coop over Condo. Patterson is pushing to put that into effect but it hasn’t happened yet.

  2. Noki, check your email. You and CGar can bring yourselves and your puppies over to Chez Champion after the drinkup and roast marshmallows in my fireplace if they don’t have one at the social place.

  3. Gem, once the offer is accepted you’ll get a hold of coop board application and start filling it out. You’ll need letters of references, employee letter and your tax returns, bank statements, etc. Basically same crap that that bank needs for mortgage. Your mortgage will be based on whether you get approved by coop or not so both will be happening at the same time. While your application for mortgage get submitted, you’ll submit coop board application and wait for date to have appointment with approval from the board. Once that’s done and bank is ready to close, its all about scheduling closing dates and getting it done.

I was going to mention that fixer upper looked like it’s on a low floor (1st) so maybe opt for the duplex if they accept the lower offer as we discussed yesterday.

  4. I love snow. I hope we get a huge storm. I felt very deprived and took it quite personally that the storm missed us last weekend. Plus which CDog loves to roll in the snow. She gets covered in snow, except around the eyes, and looks just like a Panda.

  5. I love when there’s a quiet hush in the city. It was like that Saturday morning. We drove to downtown brooklyn. Flatbush Ave. was empty. Atlantic Ave was empty. We parked, did some shopping, then had to go to some stores across the Avenue. Did a u-turn, parked again and went to teh stores on that side of the Avenue.
    Pathetic, I know.
