joe,
yeah, the Good Humor guy had a bell too,
it wasn’t automated.
he even had to clown around town in that
white uniform with white hat and black band.
half the time I was just staring at the
change maker that he had on the side of
his belt. It was filled with rolls of shiny
quarters and dimes.
which reminds me
Around that same time I can recall my first
glimpse of a Brownstone oddly enough.
My parents knew a Chilean Urologist (God only knows how)
and on a visit to his townhouse in Manhattan
which was on Gramercy Park!
His daughter, an older girl came down the sweeping
stairs with one of those same exact shiny change makers
and gave it to me as a present. no joke. I wish I still had it.
Anyway, I still remember the browntone had a zebra print room and some sort of green house with huge plants.
Amazing.
1.) entenmanns was the only cake allowed in my grandparents apt
2.) we were not allowed to let anything friehoffers in. i got yelled at once for bringing home a friehoffers brand of white bread or whatever it was even tho that was all that was left!!!
3.) entemanns iced devils food marshmellow chocolate cake was my fav. growing up!!!! hundreds of times tho id get in trouble for licking all the icing off the cake. (i didnt actually lick it, just scooped it all up and left the spongey black cake).. then they came out with fat free version of that cake i was in heaven! it didnt taste as good, but it was okay..
4.) lots of turkey hill ice brand in the freezer. but often times it was whatever was on sale.

I want to sit next to Legion as he types long posts and count how many times he hits the ‘enter’ key.
Someone remind me please. What was the correlation between Biff’s posts and the market tanking?

*rob*
“is that cereal in the photo? And what kind?”
Looks like Fruit Loops. I’d say people shouldn’t waste food like that but then again I don’t really consider that food.
^^^^^^
They should make Reese’s Peanut Butter Whoopers Cereal.
That’s pretty funny. They look like spilled Froot Loops to me.
I just ate ate approximately 30 Reese’s Peanut Butter Whoppers. Which way to the gym?
