What are you talking about, Liege? The Idol try-outs are positively TEEMING with talent and fabulosity.
And fwiw, this might be, like, the second time I’ve ever agreed with you in writing. I too think finance and home economics (no, not sewing and cooking biscuits and gravy) should be seriously taught in every junior high and high school.
ooooh i would have loved to take a shop class in high school (those classes had a stigma attached to them though, unfortunately). the closest i got to a shop class was taking a wood and metal sculpture class in college. i was however TERRIFIED of the wood cutting machine and the welding. my professor who was a big ole bulldyke would constantly rag on me about it.
Cgar & kens, look @ my 1:50. That’s what gemini was responding to. (Oh, and while we’re back in grade school, ending a sentence with a preposition is something up with which we shall not put.)
Denton,
you want shop class!
In my shop class I got to melt aluminum and pour it into a sand cast mold.
I also got to make my own solid steel hammer on a lathe.
talk about dangerous, that metal working lathe could chew up your arm in a second.
now everyone knows what goes on in that big building with the antennae on DeKalb in Fort Greene.

HAHAH – you guys are HILARIOUS!
But it’s not ME who needs comprehension classes:
Slopefarm DID challenge my spelling:
“I agree though I think kids should be in school for 8 horus a day.”
Are you an Egyptologist, by any chance, gemini?

^^^^^ooops, I was yelling, so sorry.
CGar, FUCK YOU!!!!
“It’s easier for me to be a mean bitch in print than in person.”
Not really. Just as easy for you either way.
In commie Russia, everyone had to take Shop class, Sewing class and Shooting/Gun cleaning & reloading class. NOT KIDDING!
