DIBS, it definitely is. When you look at the snack food shelves in Canada, there are certain potato chip flavours there that you rarely see here, including Dill Pickle. You can also not find BBQ Fritos here for some reason, yet they are everywhere in Toronto.
Oh, I know Biff, I was playing with you. Besides, you gotta figure *she’s* probably going to want to use some weird furriner spices on hers like mint, cumin, or tumeric anyways…
slopefarm,
lol, Mickey Roarke’s character was trying to mix pickles and popcorn in his own depraved way!
I say: Take your dill pickle seasoning and spread it somewhere else.
Diner, Legion. Great movie.
“Surely this is a Canadian thing.”

I kid, I kid!
Anything else on popcorn besides butter and salt is Unamerican…dare I say, it borders being ethnic.
bxgrl,
i’m trying to keep it light now! 😉
Who saw the Mickey Roarke popcorn movie date scene in Diner?
or was that from the 1980’s gem The Last American Virgin?
THL, nothing like some delicious Canadian dill pickle seasoning!
THL, I’m partial to the the white cheddar and dill pickle seasonings. And ketchup too.

Surely this is a Canadian thing. Americans, Democrats & Republicans alike, can agree that on popcorn one only adds butter and salt.
