M4L, I got that bit. I was more saying that I wouldn’t pay anyone $20m a year to throw a ball into a net. (Then again, I am notoriously tight with my money)
I went to sit down in my office chair just now and noticed a single piece of purple glitter. You can take the PLUSA out of the OT, but you can’t take OT out of the PLUSA (or something like that).
chicken,
Hope the conversationlooks something like;
“Is Blackheath by far the best part of London? Should I pay 40% over ask for a flat there?”
“Yes to both, of course”
Chicken, it’s rumored Knicks want to sign Chris Bosh during the offseason to play the position that David Lee currently has on the team. Chris will get a contract close to 20M per yr. Earlier in the season Knicks refuse to pay Lee 50M for 5yrs. so far, Lee YTD has put up #’s comparable to Chris and in head to head matchup against Chris, Lee has played better.
So my complaint or request is I rather keep Lee if he is willing to sign a contract of around 12-13M a seaon vs the 20M per yr it would take to sign Chris. Rather the team route some of the salary diff to invest in other positions
If anybody is interested in the UK housing market, the Times has a live-blogging session on at the moment for first-time-buyers to ask their questions (inevitably this will be London-centric).
bxgrl, my condolences to Montrose too.
etson, are you thinking of selling your place over there?
Some cheap stuff in manchester these days.

Would rather have David Lee to Chris Bosh regardless of contract value….

Might make for some interesting reading for you guys.
Thanks for that, bxgrl. I think we could all do a better job on enjoying what’s right in front of us.
