I actually received an e-mail yesterday about a job opening in Telecom!! Would you believe it??? It was from AboveNet, which used to be a high-flyer in the dot-com era, under the name of Metromedia Fiber.
Last night I updated my resume, and realized that it had been 5 years since doing so – that was the last time I heard of an opening in our field.
