If it sounds legit AND, importantly, if the new gig is something you think you’d like, I’d seriously consider it. For one thing, it’s such a small world, I’d wonder if the offer came because people realize you might soon be available. At the very least, I’d go for an interview – find out about what you’d be doing & w/ whom.
