THL- not ex! The e-hubs just bought me a 21,000 antique trestle table and is out hunting for chairs now. You need the proper accoutremonts for the mansion.
I just found these on the list of the stupidest Pop lyrics of all time. An we wonder about the state of music today?:
“I’ve got no self control/ Been living like a mole now/ Going down, excavation/ I and I in the sky/ You make me feel like I can fly/ So high/ Elevation”- U2
“I don’t want to see a ghost/ It’s the sight that I fear most/ I’d rather have a piece of toast/ Watch the evening news” -Des’ree
“To the extreme I rock a mic like a vandal/ Light up a stage and wax a chump like a candle/ Dance, Bum rush the speaker that booms/ I’m killing your brain like a poisonous mushroom”- Vanilla Ice
“Lucky that my lips not only mumble/ They spill kisses like a fountain/ Lucky that my breasts are small and humble/ So you don’t confuse them with mountains”- Shakira
“Sometimes you’re crazy and you wonder why/ I’m such a baby/ ‘Cause the Dolphins make me cry” Hootie and the Blowfish
“From seven to seven he’s got me open like Seven Eleven/ And yes, it’s me that he’s always choosin’/ With him I’m never losin’, and he knows that my name is not Susan”- Salt-n-Pepa
and last, but not least this one is for dibs:
“Our love is like water / Pinned down and abused for being strange.”- Live
my buddies house in savannah is very nice but it might as well be a fedder compared to that house. only if they built mcMansions like this and there would be less bitching from folks
Nice real estate porn, THL. There’s really nothing NOT to love about that house. Since I’ve been trying to find an appropriate baby gift for you, consider that my gift to THB.
What do you suppose those kitchen counters are made of? BTW, I’m getting that farm sink for my next kitchen – I want a sink in which you can easily wash a cookie sheet and a roasting pan.
I like Tetley’s British Blend. Reminds me of Tesco’s house tea, I used to bring boxes of Tesco tea back from London, when I went there for a couple of jobs. Since it doesn’t look like I’ll be going back anytime soon, I’m glad to be able to get the Tetley’s. They even sell it at my neighborhood Foodtown, maybe because our large British West Indian community wants a decent cuppa.
THL, cool pix! I love old theatres, too. We have a couple in Crown Heights that were once movie palaces, but they’ve all been converted into churches, and much of the decor was lost.
Wow Arkady! Willingly? Sometime I feed PB to them to be mean because it’s essentially kitty torture. I get fed up with the begging eyes so I say, fine here, chomp on this for the next 20 minutes.
THL, that was an incredible place.
Do post it in today’s HOTD if we get some marginal POS.

It’s ear splitting Etson but whatever keeps him happy while doing that slow going exhaustive task.

Never heard him try the falsetto bits in ‘Benny and the Jets’ though, thankfully.
“The lobby of the Bossert is STUNNING!!!!”
Indeed. I took some family there from out of town to have a look inside. It’s amazing.
ExTex, did you get the chance to swing around the two gold stripper poles in front to The Bossert?
