MM, I agree with almost all of your 10:35 and 10:51 posts, except that I think the Massachusetts special election has far broader implications than just that the candidate lost. I believe voters are sending a message to Obama and Congressional Democrats, and they’d be wise to finally get it. (Also, I’m sorry but I’m not convinced Obama was born in the U.S.)
we might have to consider those bars across the street from Rob’s aptmt so we can simply tell him “just walk across the street. it’s the one on the corner”
Kens- check out Acer also. I bought one a year ago- 4 g ram, 250g hard drive, hi-end radeon card (up top 1408 mb), dvd with lightscribe. AMD turion with 2 ghz. The AMD is a tad slower than I would like because my work is so graphics heavy, and it’s a 14 in screen (I have a second monitor to hook up- but acer hads a good rep and the laptop was on sale for 600$. Love the thing.
