  1. Kens, my acer broke after 2.5 yrs and lucky I got the extended warranty (that extra $50 to buy it was wise in hindsight) which covered the replacement of the motherboard. From what I read, acer is very solid & reliable – ie mine was probably the exception vs. the norm. I would get an acer before considering a lenovo – ie I trust the Taiwanese (acer) more than the Chinese (lenovo) on build quality

  2. “i wish i had a different deck. that deck is really gay and has so many missing cards, it makes me question the validity of my readings.

Rob, how much does a new deck cost? I’ll happily chip into the “let’s help Rob increase the validity of his readings” fund.

  3. I think not letting your emotions interfere with the dialogue is important. So someone wants to see the president’s birth certificate…that’s that person’s opinion. You know, when we were fighting the good fight against GW Bush, there were people at demonstrations during the Republican convention with hardcore Stalinist/Communist signs. I was still very much in favor of these people exercising their right to free speech and often agreed with them with some major points re: Bush’s war-mongering. You will find that many that are part of this tea party movement besides hating Obama are also very anti-war.
I feel people need to work together on what they have in COMMON. The REAL conservative movement is calling Obama on his bombing brown people policy just like the REAL left is. Sometimes politics can make for strange bedfellows. In this corrupt two-party system,, I’m glad to have as many friends as possible.
