Legion, that’s a pretty depressing job. I respect people in medical field but I get goosebumps everytime I am in a hospital. Dealing with cancer patients much be especially depressing. I have such respect for people that can do it, I would never be able to :o(.
Legion,
define “good money” and “very good money”.
I thought all money was good. At least it is when it’s in my pocket.

…that’s for sure. I guess the very good money just means you can get the 25 ft wide browntone vs. the 20 ft wide brownstone.
you’re right about the nurses, they are the largest political block in medicine, and they use their clout to relentlessly expand their territory and earnings potential.
Eeesh Gem – sounds frustrating, although might be a little more intersting than what I’m doing now – which is playing around with MS Excel all day
My .02 cents I suppose is you can’t really put a price on your happiness – if there’s something out there you’d rather do, and have the means to do so – go for it!!
Kens,
interesting point but some really wonderful stuff is going on in diabetic research. Currently there is a study investigating a vaccine using genetic material for Type 1 which in animal studies reversed the diabetes. We could in theory see a cure in the next 10 years for diabetes type 1 and 2.
I love architectural models.
The Toothpick City website reminded me of The Panorama on NYC.
If you haven’t seen the panorama. GO!!!!
Queens Museum of Art
Admission is Suggested = Pay what you want.
Really cool and bring binoculars. The model is huge and if you want to see close ups of Brooklyn, you’ll need them.
Dave, did you see my Brooklyn Fare reply???
So Legion – how would one go about getting a chronic Rx in Jersey for their chronic pain ??
My ideal job, aside from my current one, would be renovating brownstones full-time.

I love the Panorama. I want the guy’s job who is perpetually updating it as buildings are torn down and built.
