Wow, just caught up with this and the Big Green Space threads. It was so compelling I didn’t even have a chance to pick up any popcorn.

Satire works better when the computer keyboaard you use actually functions.

I guess they are still in hyper mode. I mean when you think about how a shoe or piece of underwear can be a bomb, you have to understand how they react. Remember, the planes on 9-11 were taken over by guys with box cutters. Not guns, not bombs. I still keep asking myself, how did it happen? People were afraid to react- it was a nightmarish masterpiece of psychology. But a big part of the reaction at Newark seems to be that the cameras weren’t working. How stupid was that?

Reports say an Obama staff meeting was “chilling” and that “people really got a good talking to.”

A White House rep speaking on condition of anonymity stated, “Yes, I know the American public is livid at such a breakdown, but wow, Obama really gave it to them good. Rest assured, everything is totally under control and wow, did the public get their point across! No need to further comment, we’ll take it from here. We’re totally on the case now. You sure couldn’t have gotten scoled worse than we did1 But we sure sat up and listened. So rest easy America! You’re safe in the skies now”, all the way.”
