pete’s right. If you want to espouse your bear opinions on real estate why aren’t you posting in Las vegas, CA or FL.
I never said home prices would be rising. I have said for some time now that brownstones will bottom around the end of 2009.
I said for many months that people are missing the turn in the stock market. If you missed that then you missed an opportunity to grow your retirement.
**Retirement is more fun as an owner, not a renter**
No, because they talk up their own book. They have an ulterior motive to get people to buy homes. They mock people and make fun of those who don’t own homes with “buy now or be priced out forever!”
instead of always blaming the politicians, we need to take some of the blame ourselves (meaning the public).
The public is the one screaming if inconvenienced, if they feel privacy is ‘invaded’, too much gov’t inspection,
kvetching about taxes…as not wanting to fund the gov’t to do its job, etc, etc. and getting too swayed by ‘drama’ that news media feeds us rather than looking at bigger picture.
anyone who is too lazy to think for themselves got no one to blame but themselves
