Not sure if that Home that I am talking about would have been more expensive back in 2007.. But the home went for anywhere between 650 to 700 sq ft.. Expensive…
Last night, before a terrible date, CGar and I crashed the Brooklyn Heights Blog meet-up at the Roebling Inn. The place seemed nice but not nearly as cozy as the Brooklyn Inn.
Snappy, way to get the Led out last night. Love that song.
Brownstones half off.. From my experience in The Hoboken market.. I feel prices are almost as strong as 2007.. A house that I bid on went for over asking just a month ago.. It was one of the nicer homes and on one of the best blocks in Hoboken but the thing went for about 20k over asking.. Crazy to me cuz I never thought I would see something like that again… But it is happening in some of the better nabes.. I hope its only a temp thing… Either way I wish I had gotten that home.. It was great.. I don’t think you can put a price on owning your dream home…
However, it does support my advice given in the Forum that a gas flame need not be vented if it’s in your fireplace, similar to running your cooktop burners.
And to get all feng shui, waterfall fireplaces:

Good morning asshats!
That one’s ‘tooo’ modern for me Snappy. Too sterile for my taste, I need something homier.
Where the heck is CGar, was he off the grid entirely yesterday??
Dave, it’s a super modern gas flame fireplace 🙂 I want one.
BHO can put a price on anything…10 X Annual rent Roll…that’s it, no room for anything else.
that’s also why he’s still looking!!!!!

Snappy, that’s not a fireplace, it’s a gas flame.
