the correct question is who advocated for their release? who do you think was stalling the military trials on many of these detainees for years? it was American Left wing lawyers, for your information (ACLU) types.
as far as Dov Hikind’s bill, I haven’t read it, so I can’t tell you what I think about it. But if it includes the idea to actually target the people who keep blowing themselves up, by all means, move ahead. when the threat level is neutralized, things can return to normal.
-Think the big mistake the govt made wrt Guantanamo was being so public about it. They just created propaganda for the oppostion.
-Don’t think anyone has ever found a good way to combat a terrorist threat other than using covert or paramilitary means. People don’t seem to have a problem when such means are used against domestic terrorists, but somehow cry racism when it’s against Islamic terrorism.

Hey, while it’s true, I’d rather see lower prices now, I see the decline of the real estate market as a multi-year event and believe that patience will be rewarded. The trend is down, and will continue downwards, the way I see it.
The real estate market didn’t finish it’s decline in the early 90s until a number of years after the stock market bottomed.

What you miss is the level of interest rates now vs. the 90s. That makes all the difference in the world!!!!
The fed won’t raise rates soon. Mortgages are at historically low rates. That is what is driving these prices.
