Is this crazy? On the train from Boston to New York yesterday afternoon, I listened to the same five minute song more or less for the entire 3 1/2 hour trip – “What’s In It For” by Avi Buffalo. I was reading or looking out the window, and I would listen, hit repeat, and then listen again, over and over and over. Last time I did something like that was when I was reading ‘Tis by Frank McCourt and listened to “Fleets” by Cartel over and over. The moods of each complimented one another.
I did listen to a 45 minute podcast while I napped, but still, I just couldn’t get enough of that song. The final two minutes simply repeats the lyrics over and over, with guitar flourishes in between, and backing vocals which are just unforgettable.
See if you agree – the track is the first one on their Myspace playlist.
Sorry to have missed you guys, Snappy. I was probably at Avatar when you were shopping. Anyone else see it? I thought it was super cool.
Stevie, generally not on a dance floor. But there’s no set way…if I see someone cute, I make sure to be close to him and then see if the chemistry kicks in.

Jessi, I just saw your email…you missed us by one day!
I love dirty franks, though haven’t been in years. I’ve never walked out of that bar alone.

How do you do it, Jessibaby? Do they all start with eye contact, and thenhe comes over to say “Hi” or does the magic start on the dance floor?
So, Rob, what snappy new togs did you get? Will your new outfits match the class & style of MM’s postings?
Rob, what did you end up getting with your gift certificate?
