Speaking of teaching a cat manners, any suggestions on how to get my cat to stop sleeping on my head? Nothing like waking up in the morning with cat ass in your face!

THL, forget teaching the cat manners. It won’t work. My cat Angus, aka Piranha Boy, snatches food like a starved alley cat. It must be a racial memory, because he’s been overfed in my house his entire life. We call him P Boy for a reason. He is relentless.

BRG, I enjoyed that article you posted. It reminded me of the sainted tenant and myself. When you are by yourself, relationship wise, it’s great to have a good friend nearby, but not in the same space. We both have very separate lives, but can always choose to share dinner or watch a movie, and then the other person goes home. Not bad.
