  1. Rob, the Boston Tea Party is important because up until that point, the British had insisted that all American Colonists drink their tea with lemon, in small china cups. Well, being upstart proto-Americans, and real manly men, the Colonists in Boston decided that they wanted to drink their tea straight, out of good old large American pewter flagons, made by guys like Paul Revere. The sissy British were appalled, and sent their army to Boston with cases of china to make sure tea was a proper affair. The Bostoners met the ships at the pier, a fight broke out, and the Americans tossed the cases of china into the bay. This started the American Revolution. Really.

  2. It’s not a naked protest then.

Tea is awesome. ditto is right that it’s hard to get the good stuff here. The ubiquitous Lipton’s is owned by the Brits (Unilever) though – revenge, possibly?

  3. etson, I believe the nudity laws only allow for toplessness.

If nudity laws allowed for full nudity, DIBS would be cancelling his upcoming weekend Philly trip.

  4. wow the naked bike ride protest is really going to happen? i dont know.. personally i find it rather lame, insulting, and juvenile. but whatever will get them more hits and pics for their myspace pages i guess!
