  1. quote:
As one of my neighbors and I were saying about him, “You know he’s tough because he lives in the projects and he’s not making any attempt to hide what he is.”

LOL and another thing. it’s “tough” to live in the projects? uhhhh. okaaaay. i think it’s WEAK and feeble to live in the projects.

  2. DH- why don’t you read the thread before you decide what I’m saying. I’m not wasting my time repeating what i said except to summarize that I don’t think they have the right to tell anyone what to wear or where to ride on public streets. I don’t it antisemitism if people disagree with them and fight them on issues like this. But that’s where it should stop, not become a referendum on what they believe. They act politically- they vote as a bloc, and they support politicians who support them.

  3. quote:
Not true at all. My house is near the Albany Houses, whose residents include an obviously gay black dude. I say “obviously gay” because he is pretty flamboyant. He’s also a solid six feet, 180-200 pounds. He says “hi” quite openly to the other project people, and while sometimes I’ve seen the so-called “tough guys” snicker at him behind his back, they NEVER mess with him (at least in my presence). That’s because he looks like he can take care of himself (and I suspect he has had to at least once or twice).

okay i love this hypocrisy… so if this person did NOT look like they could “take care of themself” it’s excusable for other project dwellers to mess with him? wtf! and he’s probably a closeted tranny. i wasnt including trannies. there are lots of trannies in public housing and welfare hotels.

  4. I don’t begrudge anyone their religious beliefs. I do take exception when they are imposed upon my right to live how I want.

They don’t want to be gay or many gays FINE! Don’t! Just don’t eff it up for those who want to. I have 3 legally married gay couples as friends and I just think it’s a shame that they had to travel to another state just so they could have the same rights as I and my husband do by virtue of being born with the “right parts” as sanctioned by the church. Disgraceful.

You don’t want to ride a bike or see women engaging in exercise FINE! Don’t look. Last I check those were public streets you’re trying to claiming as your own. No gates allowed around the fortress folks.

  5. “And for the record- there is a line between bashing what the Hasids do and bashing them as a culture or religious group. Apparently some of you can’t tell the difference.”

fuck em! after all i’m sure you care a whole lot more then they do – i’m just a ‘goyim’ anyways.

  6. The latest version is a document signed by so-called Christian leaders to protest and fight against gay rights. It was done in NYC a few weeks ago. It’s a declaration signed by Catholic and Protestant leadership.
