well, in defense of Stevie. He wasn’t suggesting such a thing, Kens… only accusing Palin and ilk favoring such a thing(exageration of course) but questioning how one could support party that she is part of.

Arkady, my thanksgiving is totally traditional, the way my mother made the stuffing and everything. Bell’s Seasoning of course.
I do experiment on desserts and soups though. This year will be a carrot vichysoise and a pumpkin cheesecake.
there are times (trying to) being different is good. Thanksgiving in not the time. Share the tradition or don’t bother celebrating.
Legion, the NYT has a review in the Arts section today. They thought it was good but could have been better.
I too am a fan, but I didn’t think ‘Road’ was his best effort. Too much ‘Mad Max influence. ‘No Country’ otoh was great, in my book.
Cormac got great reviews and never sold dick, until his 1980s trilogy. His early works are highly collectible and expensive. Some sold so poorly they are impossible to find without remainder marks. And he doesn’t do book tours.
Blood Meridian is generally considered his best, altho it could be argued.

dave, why do you defend the republicans? Shouldn’t you be thankful to the democrats for allowing your kind to engage in your shenanigans? Imagine if Sarah Palin takes back the country and sent all of your kind to Christian re-education camps where you will receive Jesus into your life and be made to realize your frivolous ways?
