“Every counry’s past is barbaric & bloody. Every country. Most of us have moved on.”
That’s a really good point, Dave. BH and I were looking at a timeline history of the World, and we really couldn’t come up with a culture/people/country that has been barbaric or bloody at some point. Sorry thing, that.
i dont normally call people out, but steveib is annoying me more than any other poster on the whole internetz has in a while. while 11217’s post about preserving the history of america’s architecture was kinda, eh, i wont say… how is bringing up the bad parts of our history even f’ing relevant? there has never been a culture of peoples that hasnt had a checkered past and done some wrong stuff. people apparnetly love old architecture (i do too duh), how does preserving that part of our GOOD past have any relevance to the slaugher of american indians (sorry i refuse to say native americans)? you are very trollish in the sense that you seem to be coming after certain people here and your arguments arent even interesting.
You definitely won’t be embarrassed at either of those places I mention. The people who work at Odd Twin are super nice and very friendly and Monk is super casual and kind of a hole, but there’s a TON of stuff in there, so no doubt you’d find something you like, in your size…
>> I think it’s good that more and more people in this country are starting to respect where we came from, those who came before us and allow those people and things (yes, that includes old homes) to help move us forward in a more sustainable and peaceful way.
11217, Puke-o-rama!
What is it from the past that was so good to remember? The genocide of the native american Indians or the enslaving of Africans? Or maybe the passing of such laws as “chinese exclusion act”? This country past is barbaric and bloody; that is what we should all remember.

Humans, go figure.
Here’s a song that sounds like a chant….

“”Beyonce’s “Single Ladies”
I HATE that song! You’re single. I get it! ”
no doubt ENY – but i wouldn’t even call it a song. more like a chant. there’s no singing to be heard in that song.
ENY, lol, but that song’s appeal is from the video…watching those thighs! LOL
