Debate all you want, but does anyone – including Thompson supporters – really think he’s going to beat Bloomberg? Most New Yorkers see Bloomberg overturning term limits as the naked power grab that it is, but think he’s doing a good job overall, and think he’s the right person to run the City right now, and are going to vote for him anyways.
Bloomberg is not in it for the money! That’s the last thing he’s in it for and that’s what I like about him…he can’t be bought. Unlike our friend Mr. Thompson, who I find messy on several levels.
To me it seems the more I make, the more taxes I pay so quit looking for a handout and vote for the guy who’s going to run this city better and make it more prosperous over the long term.

Agreed…
[Sniffs the air] hmmmmm, smells like sense of entitlement around here.
I have to agree with Dave…I really don’t think Thompson is the right guy for NYC. Please don’t get me wrong I don’t approve of Bloomberg changing the term limits BUT he is the better candidate.
I am voting for the college chick from the Bronx who is gong to change EVERYTHING around!!! :o)
(And, bxgrl, you know I’m in Wasilla the instant Sarah Palin officially announces her candidacy for 2012)

Charlie Sheen answered that question best, Pete….”I don’t pay women for sex, I pay for them to leave in the morning.”

My thoughts exactly.
I thought after Spitzer the media might change the question from have you ever smoked pot to have you ever paid for sex.
