Joe, China needs unions. not so sure about unions in USA – particularly how businesses would rationalize using unions vs. not. like it or not / right or wrong, bosses decide where to locate jobs. what would union’s pitch / angle be to convince businesses to not relocate jobs elsewhere?

Glad we agree on something. Snappy for Mayor! This is shaping up to be a big tent candidacy. (Sorry, CGar) Oh, and Snap, you don’t need 8 million votes, only registered voters, and turnout will be small. You are just a few hundred thousand shy of victory. Keep at it. Things are looking up.

That would basically equate to 25% of revenues spent on marketing. I bet there’s little to no profit margin on these shoes and all the profits are handsomely made from the shoes made in China. It’s a marketing ploy. People are gullible.

It’s as rational as a childless person not wanting to pay school tax.
