Yes, she got her two weeks ago. She’s very skit-ish. We’re hoping for the best but she’s been trembling when going for walks. My MIL is upset she wasn’t acclimated to the noise/traffic better. She was supposed to have been.
OH, THL, Leonbergers are almost always very, very friendly. i first ran across one in the late eighties in Chicago. I had a n Akita and there was a leonberger that someone walked near us. The dog was great. and the two of them really got along
i ran across one in provincetown over Labor Day. The owner was really surprised when i asked him if it was a leonberger.
My neighbors down the block have one of the most imposingly large dogs I’ve ever come across and it’s got the personality to die over he’s such a giant oaf of a sweetheart. Before I met him I’d never heard of the breed before.

THL, I just “met” a Leonberger for the first time recently. Looks so much like a St. Bernard. A very playful, lovable dog.
Did your MIL get her dog yet? S/he was beautiful in the picture. (The dog; I haven’t seen a picture of your mother-in-law yet.)
Thanks, Kens. I guess I’ll make more than 1 batch of Marble Brownies, LOL!
