  1. I loved the Brighton episode of Bored to Death last night btw. I always hung gout in Sheepshead/Brighton as a teenager and the the protagonist’s Russian client reminds me of many of the people I met down there.

  2. could never be with someone who doesn’t eat cheese.

Dave, aren’t a lot of Asian-Americans lactose intolerant? I only know this because I was lactose intolerant for some time and my doctor told me that it’s pretty common in Asian cultures and with some eastern europeans because they don’t consume large dairy amounts at homeland and then come here and start consuming pizza, cereals, etc. growing up and develop lactose intolerance. Sometime the body adjust (Like in my case) and sometimes it doesn’t.

  3. hahhah thl. one ghetto thing i am not proud of that i used to do, mostly just in college but i did it for a few years afterwards, was going around to those big clothing drop off bins and literally fishing for bags of clothes. i guess one could look at it as stealing from the poor, but i figured i was poor so it evened out.? i wish they had those bins in nyc. the last time i saw one was a very very very long time in chelsea. did they do away with them? the ones i used to raid were usually located in jersey mall parking lots. my friend used to drive us in the middle of the night and we’d come back with a whole new wardrobe!
