BTW, who did Obama beat out for this price? was some real legitimate candidate got stiffed for the award?
CGar – I was a big Hillary gal as well. But I guess Obama’s win makes me happy because it means that the world likes us again. Also, the fact that the Taliban even was reachable for comment (didn’t deserve it) makes me somewhat hopeful for an improved dialog. And maybe it was just a slow year for peace.
Wow guys, I’ll remember this when you receive your Nobel Prize.
Did you listen/read the statement as to why he was given the award? Someone has to be a leader and at least make the attempt to lead the world into better relations after so many years of ill will towards the US.

snappy, if you believe the renov quotes thrown around on this blog, that fixer would cost you easily 300k and tons of time & headache. personally, I dont like to deal with massive fixers on a frame house – much higher risk to encounter material structural issues than with a brick house
