what is the HE detergent? like detergent for men? actually that is a pretty good idea. men should have their own smelling detergent. i do like the smell of Gain in the green bottle. once i bought some weird brand i never heard of from the dollar store and it made my clothes REEK!
Really neat thing in today’s Times was about a group called Fixers Collective who have a Thursday clinic to which you can take something that’s broken & ask if they can fix it. I’m planning to go tonight. Google the name for how it works. If you fill out a form on line they’ll have ideas about it before you get there. $5. fee. (Plus parts, presumably.)
“Mr Congenial and forgiving checking in! What a dork I look like with those categories.”
Finally! I was wondering when you’d stop by to accept your award. You might wanna work on that acceptance speech, Mr!
Publish the link, bxgrl!? That was a great one!

Don’t worry, wasder, in the movie version of Brownstoner, you will be played by Sandra Bullock.
Ok, I’d better bear down on work.
hey folks,
Biff, have you tried going to the Louis Armstrong museum in Corona, Queens?
It’s his old house, several Jazz/Music greats lived in that area.
arkady- that sounds very cool. Do they do computers?
– Isn’t it a little early for this kind of talk?
Yes, considering I’m still in yesterday’s dirty underclothes.
cobble- I know! One of the funniest threads. Do you know I saved the entire herb thread, it was so brilliant?!
bjster- I grew up with laundromats too. the projects had a washroom and we used to overdo the soap for fun. (Not so much fun for the super 😉
– Use an HE formulated detergent and put in half of what the bottle recomments. I’m serious.
Oooops, while I use a HE detergent. I’m def. using too much.
But I like seeing suds!
