hold on there, you are painting with an incredibly broad brush. your contention that the Bush years were “incredibly destructive” is your own opinion and perspective. let the historians decide a few years from now.
I don’t agree with many of his policies, but he kept this nation safe for 7 years through a very difficult period. Ask yourself what he inherited from Clinton. Or more specifically, what Sandy Burger (former NSA director)would risk his reputation and legacy for,by stealing documents from the national archives. Must have been something pretty important and damaging.

  2. hey, how about Paul Lind as the voice in some of those cartoons like the Perils of Pauline. That guy was funny.

LOL, My mother loved Paul Lynde and keeps his autograph to her in a frame to this day! He was also the voice of Templeton the Rat on Charlotte’s Web..

  3. “have to agree as well that it’s nonsense to blame the current situation on a single person.”

Not that it makes it right, but the sole purpose of the GOP at this point is to do exactly what you are saying shouldn’t be done…to Obama.

They have no clear message at all other than to bash Obama.

  4. “Bush’s problem was his record on public spending”

    And personal freedoms
And spending billions on a war by lying about it
And by stating that climate change doesn’t exist
And rallying the country to shop for useless Chinese imports to get us through a terrorist attack
    And
    And

But I’ll stop. I can’t talk about politics here. It’s just not a good medium for it.

  5. have to agree as well that it’s nonsense to blame the current situation on a single person. bush gets scapegoated for everything bad that’s happened in the last 10 years. the problem is that it detracts attention from the very real things that he did wrong. blaming bush for everything is lazy and irresponsible. that’s why awful mistakes get repeated throughout history.

  6. ENY,
that’s the one, with Edward G. Robinson as the frog. lol.

how does the quintessential villain voice of 40’s film noir, become a cartoon voice in a 60’s-70’s kid’s cartoon.

hey, how about Paul Lind as the voice in some of those cartoons like the Perils of Pauline. That guy was funny.

  7. Tax cuts are not ‘spending’, nor do they ‘cost’ anything.
It’s simply that the money stays in individuals pockets rather than going to the government.
I hate the way that bureaucrats distort the language Tax cuts may be a ‘cost’ to a bloated government but they are not to the individual.

Bush’s problem was his record on public spending, not his record on taxes.
