  1. 10TIHAY plot synopsis:

VERY loosly based on The Taming of the Shrew. Lech character (aka Heath Ledger) = outcast rumored to have killed someone and other unspeakable acts. Yadda yadda yadda, he ends up taking Julia Stiles to the prom.

    Beoch review:

Probably no need to see unless you are (a) a Julia Stiles fan and/or (b) a Heath Ledger fan and want to see his whole oeuvre.

  2. BrooklynGreene, not Bored to Death, again?

  3. Now there are more cars, vehicles and I think it was one of the Sex and the City women who was handed out of an SUV by a chauffeur, shook hands here and there and was ushered into the big RV locations thing.

  4. “Assuming it was’t bullsh#$:”

Not even a hint of bullshit. I’ve never seen that movie though.

A little self-promotion – I just had fun looking at the biggest sales thread and going back and looking at the original HOTD thread for the berkeley place listing. That was back when I gave a crap about real estate prices. Those really were the days.

  5. NEWSFLASH:
Some sort of movie production dark dressingroom RV is on Lafayette near Carlton with some celebrity 20-30 somethings bustling around, getting dropped off by chauffeured SUVs.
ANOTHER show being filmed in Fort Greene???

  6. omg i wanted to bring this up yesterday but didnt have a chance… about dishwashers.

okay, ive used them and have not used them and i find not using them much easier. dish washers are seriously annoying and seem like 10x the amount of work it would be to just wash dishes manually. do they save water or something? do people just use them after a dinner party because it’s easier? i find dish washers nothing more than places people seem to hoard their dirty dishes which is disgusting. when i lived in harlem i used to open the dishwasher and hundreds or roaches would be running around. GROSS! i refused to even touch the thing. it smelled really bad too and had nasty gunk on the sides that looked toxic. i never really cooked in that apt tho because of that. where i live now the dishwasher serves no function. might as well keep books or shoes in it!

so someone needs to tell me why dishwashers are a good thing.

    *rob*
