Biffy, go whole hog and get a Dyson. My best friend got one as a gift from her hubby…that is apparently the only vacuum you can give as a gift and be rewarded with some ‘lovin’! She says it really is worth the money and is the best vac she’s ever seen/used/had.
I need to get a new vacuum. Of course the one time in 12 years I actually used one – while Mrs. C and the Champettes were away – I broke it. It’s a pretty heavy duty machine that weighs a ton and is a pain in the ass to haul up and down stairs, but Mrs. C claims the lighter/cheaper models suck (and not in the way a good vacuum should). I agree that it makes sense to not cheap out on home appliances; once gets what one pays for.
Or, as a wise old Italian neighbour of mine once said, if you want to get good quality/service “You have to spend the money.”
Get a canister… They suck well 🙂
How many people think this looks like Biff doing the vacuuming???

And Biffy, you may be facing impeachment proceedings this morning…your Presidential puns were needed yesterday in the fence thread 🙁
And I suspect the neighbor said: “You gotta spenda da money.”

Are you sure your Italian neighbor didn’t say:
“You have to spend-a the money.”
When I first started reading that I figured it was rob again.
“ONE gets what one pays for”, that is…
