arkady, right now im reading some book i found on a stoop a while back called Love Junkie by Rachel Resnick. it’s sort of a memoir, it’s good but im trying to rush through it so i can start reading Virtual Girl by Amy Thomson. i love free books on stoops. question tho, can bedbugs hide in books? im always worried about that. i usually will hit the book a few times on concrete before taking it inside but i dont know if that is good? i’d assume people are nice enough to not leave stuff out for the taking if they have bedbugs, but what if they dont know? also jeeeeeez have you seen how many mattresses in casings have been strewn on the sidestreets of center slope in the last few weeks? there is a notorious bedbug building that is adjacent to Playa on the corner of 5th avenue. they are always throwing stuff out and they do nicely write bedbugs on it, tho sometimes there is furniture out with no signs. dont take anything from that street (i always forget what street that is..) one of the first named streets or something. it’s the skankiest side street in park slope proper i think.
m4l…i’m on vacation now….and it’s slim pickins up here for “rice & beans” other than the partner. NYC better watch out when I return, especially long-haired Thai guys!!!!!!
DIBS, it would’ve been funny scene if you & I wrote the 4/5 train this morning. after getting onto the train, I noticed a long hair tall asian girl standing a few steps away. If you were there, I would be commenting she’s tall, nice legs, nice dark long hair,…. Of course you would tell me to sit down cause she is actually a guy. think he’s thai. good looking chap. probably plays on your team. Man, I could’ve watched you in action and take some notes on Da Man working it

anyone interested in investigating this “housing asset renewal program” with me? base-case hypothesis: the city is using tax money to supplement the selling prices of condos, bailing out their developer friends and sourcing cheap luxury apartments for their supporters, all in the name of affordable housing and blight prevention.
no. I have no desire to be a white collar welfare queen.

Then you could easily do something dark with all that light…. Go to the Benjamin Moore site and go through the fandeck….

Try the browns, reds and greens at the far right end or the bright yellows on the far left
Also some of these paint sites have a few rooms where you can change the color in them
One of the Brooklyn brokers has this feature on their listings now as well. Anybody remember who???
