My living room is painted a color called dry mustard. Its a beautiful goldeny-green that sometimes looks gold and sometimes truer green. I love that it changes- but it is one of those colors that needs several coats to cover. My bedroom is a medium/deep gray with white and the kitchen is a rich deep red. I’m a color junkie so some rooms are due to be changed again.
There was a wonderful BM color called Putty — a gray taupe that really took on the undertones of the colors around it. I am lookign for something like it again.
Grays — with undertones of anything — are wonderful backdrops. And do well in either bright daylight or at night with artifial light.
Snappy if there is one I will find a city council candidate who’s against it and tell everyone to vote for him/her. what bugs me is that it appears to be totally unchallenged in the press, but yesterday we ranted against it 10-0, which is not normal here. it’s clearly corrupt when you think about it for 10 seconds, but council candidates are boasting about their support of it.
then again I’m open to the possibility that the foreclosure process will take SO long that it is worth the money to just get them sold. It’s just that in that case there are calculation issues — 50K each will not get them sold.
smells crappy. thought someone else would be bored today.
rob – could have easily been one of those times when like 5 trains come back to back, and you got the last one of those, and then it takes 10 minutes for another train to come, and by the time it does everyone is sweating and pacing up and down and looking at their watches and getting pissed off. When I got the M/R platform at 9th St there were a lot of people standing there looking pretty uptight.
I’m wondering along with you Joe if there is a politician to be found willing to come out against it.
