CG Ups – Mellow hippies come from other places and move *to* Vermont. Unmellow nonhippies like me move out of Vermont to get away from the mellow hippies and go to places like law school and New York City. I know what a real Vermont accent sounds like – unlike your average trustafarian organic farmer who moved to Vermont five seconds ago and has no idea what winter in northern New England is really like.
