Bxgirl…he hasn’t stood in his food yet…though that would be funny to see 🙂 Maybe over time he’ll realize he doesn’t have to share it and will slow down on his chomping. Thanks for the offer of taking him in for a while, but one of the few things I can manage to do through this pain is keep feeding him and rubbing on his belly 🙂 Thankfully he always pounces on my right leg and foot instead of the left one. Pia knows that leg and foot is hurt (somehow?) and she avoids it as well. She’s been balancing herself on just my right leg when she sleeps on me at night.

bxgrl – Me too! I’m half-way into an installation that started 16 years ago – carpenter left & I haven’t had time/money to get a new one. Gave up & put books in until facings & cabinet doors can be installed. Might be easier just to take that offering – if I win the lottery – if I get a ticket.

Has everyone seen the panelled library offering on the forum. I would so LOVE to be in a position to get this. Its fabulous.
Snappy- Hari is a competitive eater- he would actually stand in the bowl and eat while everyone else had to work around him. Kittens like him seem to have a fear that they won;t get enough. one of my cats- Moose- gobbles good down and of course inevitably hurls. Every once in awhile so do others. But I remember Montrose saying every morning Hari stood in the bowl while he ate and woe to the cat who tried to take his food 🙂
In any case if you are having a problem coping with him because of your foot I can take him until you’re better. I promise not to keep him- as much as I would love to- but I promised my guys no more permabuddies.
