  1. CarrolG:
ah you are? how is that experience been? We are sorta weirded out to be renters again after owning and landlording for 6 years. Our plan is to rent for a few months and probably buy a condo. Am afraid we are now priced out of houses in PS and the surrounding nabes and what we can afford are those “shanty shacks” that would require a lot of cash to buy and then to fix up.

There is a 2 bR condo we are already eyeing that is unique and is in a 3 story bldg up in Windsor Terrace/Park Slope

  2. Oh…forgot about the hurling post! Ok…so cats have been covered.

Arkady…you see my attempts to bring a discussion on your article went no where…and fast. I tried!

  3. Um, Snaps, we did touch on cats for a moment – see “hurling” above. (By the way, I’d rather be hurled on by a kitten than burped on by a human being – esp. if it’s a reaction to a permitted activity.)

  4. Snaps, thanks for the update.

    Hope you’re feeling better.

I just scoured my medicine cabinet to see if I had any leftover Vicodin I could messenger over to you. Sadly, all I’ve got in my med stash now is some outdated Valium with the name of my sister’s dog on the label (her dog was having anxiety attacks, and his psychiatrist turned out to be one of those lazy shrinks that won’t bother with talk therapy –they just throw meds).

  5. G10, I realize this may be premature to ask since you haven’t even closed yet, but are you going to be looking to buy again? (I’m in a similar situation as you – I sold my house, and I’ve been renting for almost 3 years, but I’m looking to buy again.)

  6. Wonton, the day has been full of pop stars unknown to some, parents bitching about ice cream trucks and kids who just won’t take no for an answer, smoking and belching…I think that’s it! And surprisingly, no cats!
