DIBS, if that is true, why do you think the prosecutor was willing to take the flight risk? Not my area of law but I’m not sure what you typically tell the judge if the witness is going WPP. This morning’s article had the judge denying bail and the witness hauled back to jail. What are you hearing about how he got out?

Speaking of Madoff, is it correct that he nevered made any trades hence he never LOSS the $$$ via bad trades and the $$$ is hidden somewhere?

OK, so we had a big discussion at lunch today and there’s interesting stuff leaking out on Madoff. Supposedly the CFO, Frank DiPascali, who just plead guilty, is going to turn state’s evidence, and has been whisked away and is nowhere to be found, is from Bay Ridge and supposedly tied to the Mafia. He grew up next to the secretary, Ms. Bongiorno.
Pathetic!!! If this thread count gap (vs. W’burg thread) is not surpassed by the end of the day, I’ll personally report this to Head PLUSA Biff upon his return from the motherland

You went to SUNY Binghamton? I did too, when dinosaurs roamed the earth–I am an early baby boomer. It was a wonderful place for me, but it’s gotten so ultra-competitive that I don’t think my daughter will get in if she wants to go when she graduates from h.s.

Haha — do I ever hear you. I’m still wondering wtf I was thinking. That said, stripping the hot pink paint off the beautiful woodwork (rather, having someone strip it for me) on the garden level was pretty satisfying. It’s a beautiful room, shutters, parquet and all.
If one closes the door between the bedroom and the ensuite bathroom there is no wafting of poo mist between the two. It’s also, by definition, not a bathroom for guests to use, so no “foreign” poo smeel. “En suite” does not mean that its in the same room as the bedroom with no partition.
