I think what is taking a well-needed break from this site. By the end, he brought so much anger and could not distinguish discussion and argument from name-calling, and could not disengage. He could not let go of the things that angered him about this site and many of us. He may be lurking or not. He may be boycotting. But I think it is a good thing for him to take a break as it just seemed like one explosion after another. Couldn’t have been healthy. If he stays gone, I wish him nothing but good things. If he comes back, I hope he can find a way to handle it better and engage in real dialogue and a reasoned exchange of differing views, although I am not sure what it will take for him to be able to do that. But I really think he decided he’s done, at least for now, and I think that is a good move on his part for his own sake.
